2017 Youth Night | May 26, 2017

I am very excited to announce our 5th Annual Youth Night this year at Harvest Baptist Church. We would like to invite you and your youth group to join us for this big event on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 7PM.

We believe there is a message God has prepared for us on this special night. This year's theme, "STAND" is derived from a passage found in Ephesians 6:13. We are living in a time of great wickedness, but God has commanded us to put on the whole armour of God to withstand in the evil day. More than ever, it is our duty as Christians, to live for Jesus and remain faithful to Him. Our prayer is for God to work in the hearts of our young people to be of great courage and take a stand for Jesus in this sinful world.

We are privileged to have Bro. Cameron Giovanelli, President of Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California as our special guest preacher. We believe that God will use him to speak to the hearts of the young people. We are sending along the sign-up sheet and post cards to help promote our Youth Night. For each youth pastor who brings at least 10 teenagers, you will receive a Starbucks gift card. Please let us know if your youth group will be able to attend by May 5, 2017. Because we believe that our young people need good preaching and Christian fellowship, our Youth Night is always free and we will be providing food for you after the service.

We are praying for God's blessing upon this meeting and would love to have you and your youth group attend. We pray that this year’s theme will stir your heart as it stirred ours. If you have any questions, please let me know! Thank you for your service in The Lord. Your friend,

Michal Pechardo
Youth Pastor

What to do?

Past Youth Night Videos

Are you 100% sure that if you died today,
you will go to heaven?

1) Realize that everyone is a sinner.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Rom. 3:23) No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still fall short.

2) Realize the penalty for sin.
For the wages of sin is death… (Rom. 6:23) The penalty for sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.

3) Believe Christ died for you.
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom. 5:8) Christ's great love for us was shown when He died on the cross to pay our debt.

4) Trust Christ alone as your Savior.
...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom. 6:23) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom. 10:13) Everlasting life is offered to those who, by faith, call upon Jesus.

5) Now pray and ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior.
" Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that I deserve Hell. I believe that You died for my sins. I ask You to forgive me of my sins and take me to heaven when I die. I am trusting in You alone. Thank you. In Jesus Name, Amen"

Let us know if you went over the plan of salvation.
